Active warrant leads to arrest

On March 2nd, 2024, Searcy County deputies observed a Silver Ford Edge traveling on Hilltop Rd., approximately 1 mile from Crossing Road. After checking the status of the license plate of the vehicle, Searcy County Dispatch stated that the vehicle was unconfirmed on insurance coverage. After conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle, the driver, Jenifer Grundy, age 35, of Bentonville was contacted. After explaining to Grundy why she had been contacted, she explained she had just been pulled over and issued a citation for no insurance. Deputies realized and identified another individual inside the vehicle, Dawn Marie Honeycutt, age 40, of Green Forest. After receiving confirmation from Searcy County Dispatch, it was confirmed that Honeycutt was wanted for charges in Searcy County and had an active warrant for her arrest.

William Thomas Moore, 76, of Mountain Home, Arkansas died on March 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 23, 1947, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Lester and Norma (Jennings) Moore.

Robert ‘Bobby’Austin Tyson died on March 26, 2024, in Marshall, AR. He was born on February 18, 1943, to Arthur and Maggie (Underwood) Tyson.

Marie Reeves

Marie Reeves, age 94, of Hindsville, Arkansas died on March 26, 2024, in Fayetteville,Arkansas. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on December 5, 1929, to Adam and Okla (Blackwood) McKinney. She married Chester Reeves in 1948. The couple was blessed with sons, Larry and Ken. The family spent many years in Yakima, Washington apple farming before returning to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marie and Chester eventually returned to Springdale, Arkansas.

Janice M. McDaniel

Janice M. McDaniel, age 88 of Snowball, Arkansas died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Snowball, Arkansas on August 6, 1935 to Fred Waco Griffin and Gertha Jones Griffin. She married Herbert McDaniel on December 6, 1951. They enjoyed almost 58 years of marriage until his death in 2009.
