Hard to figure out where to start this week. The beginning of last week wasn’t that bad. I found out that I won an award for the Arkansas Press Association for “Best Dressed Front Page.” My husband and I decided that we are going to go to Jonesboro next weekend for the Arkansas Press convention where I’ll receive my award. We are going to take the kids and do some stuff with them when I’m not at the convention. Not too bad right?
Hope that you had a good week. Larry and I have been working in my garden. It is looking real good. It has been good weather to work outside. I have been making lettuce salad. We need rain in the garden. Larry has been watering the garden every night. You can see it in the tomato plants.
Happy Summer Solstice! The last couple of days have been warm! We did have a couple cool evenings with a nice breeze, which was nice to get some things done outside. But we’re starting to get a touch dry and we need rain.
Today is Thursday. It is fair and cool this morning. I went to the Mountain Wave office, and I visited with Charity Rolen there. Bonnie Marker came to visit me. Kathy is on the east coast but will fly to Memphis Tennessee tonight. She went to visit her family.
