Joshua James Buckelew, age 35 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Manteca, California on May 28, 1986 to Billy Buckelew and Cindy M. Buckelew. He the Lord as his Savior in 2011. He loved to go
He the Lord as his Savior in 2011. He loved to go to church and enjoyed singing and worshiping the Lord.
He liked to watch and play basketball and loved to participate in the Special Olympics. He especially liked to play his Play Station with his special friend, Makenzie.
He liked to eat at McDonalds and Chinese food and also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He worked at Reworx consignment store and liked to interact with the customers.
He had a very outgoing and friendly personality and made many, many friends that he loved and enjoyed spending time with.
His little fur baby, Bear brought him much joy. He loved his wife, Darla very much and together they enjoyed many happy times.
He will be greatly missed by his Friendship Community Care staff and friends, his family and his wife, Darla.
Survivors include his wife of 7 plus years, Darla Mahoney Buckelew; parents, Billy and Cindy Buckelew; sisters, Kristle Banditt and Jessica Ulloa; grandma, Billie Sue Mocko; two nephews; three nieces; four uncles; two aunts; mother-in-law, Dorothy Christine Mahoney; sisters-in-law, Carla Mahoney and Veronica Mahoney; and many extended family and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Mocko; and paternal grandparents, Billie Buckelew and Elaine Buckelew.
Memorial services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Marshall, Arkansas with Pastor Eddie Ragsdale officiating.
