Danny Harlin Laymon, age 60 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in Harrison, Arkansas on December 12, 1960 to John Harlin Laymon and Carolyn Tilley Laymon.

He attended church at Morning Star Baptist Church. He graduated from Marshall High School and also attended college at North Arkansas College in Harrison.

He served in the United States National Guard. He enjoyed doing genealogy and keeping up with the family tree. He liked to take long walks and enjoyed visiting with folks along the way.

He never met a stranger. His friendly and outgoing personality will be greatly missed by his many friends. He was a wonderful husband, dad and granddad.

Survivors include his wife of almost 36 years, Loretta Gorecke Laymon of the home; children, Brandon Laymon and wife Audreyonna of Marshall and Amanda Casey and husband Destin of Conway; grandchildren, Hope Johnson, Destiny Casey and Meagan Weaver; brother, Larry Cotton of Marshall; sister, Genette Bishop of Elizabeth; and many extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Carolyn Laymon.

Memorial services for him will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be in Witts Springs Cemetery where he will be laid to rest beside his father, John Harlin Laymon.
