Nancy Watts of Cozahome

Nancy Belle Lack Watts, age 80 of Cozahome, Arkansas died Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on December 14, 1940.

My mom loved her traveling childhood with her beloved parents, John and Mabel Hall Lack. By the time she was 12 years old she had lived in 13 states. At a recent family reunion a relative said, “Wasn’t that all there were at that time?”

It wasn’t all a bed of roses because her sister, Betty Jo and triplet siblings, Connie, Johnnie and Donnie had all died by the time she was 3 years old, leaving her to be raised as an only child. From a teenager she was raised in Cozahome, surrounded by family and friends.

She met a little dark haired boy named Mack (1940-2012) and from this union their #1 son, as she called me, Ricky was born. They lived in various places following the drywall trade and then in 1972 Cozy was home again.

At that time, she began her real estate career. She loved the hills, creeks, rivers, woods, and folks and enjoyed helping place people with their dream piece of property.

Her most important offer and acceptance was when Jesus made her an offer she did not refuse. It was obvious to all she encountered that His favor was upon her life. Laneta and I, family and friends will miss her for a little while, but all who accept the offer of Christ will see her again!

A Celebration of Memories of her will be held at the Cozahome Church on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cozyhome Church Memorial Fund, 274 Honeycomb Lane, Harriet, AR 72639 or use the following link to donate on the Gofundme page.
