Bernelle Arms, age 92 of Snowball, Arkansas died Monday, February 28, 2022 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Snowball, Arkansas on February 1, 1930 to John Bozine Griffin and Margaret Bailey Griffin.

She was a homemaker. She took excellent care of her mother and sisters. She loved her animal friends, especially her little dog Toby who passed away in 2017. They had a very special bond.

She didn’t think she would ever have room for another little fur baby but along came sweet Sky. She took great joy in taking her for rides. When her health declined, and she went in the nursing home Sky’s visit’s always brightened her day. Survivors include daughter, Patsy Arms of the home; and many nieces, nephews and extended family who will mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bozine and Margaret Griffin; husband Carlton Boone Arms who died in 2008; and siblings, Jimmy Glen Griffin, Madge Griffin, Tilmon John Griffin, Clifton Griffin and Shirley Jean Griffin.

Graveside services for her was 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Silver Hill Cemetery near St. Joe with Bro. Jim Campbell officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Don J. Switzer, Tim Tucker and Nolan Brisco.
