Lucille Hendrix of Witts Springs

Lucille Hendrix, age 85 of Witts Springs, Arkansas died on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born in Alread, Arkansas on May 1, 1936 to Marion Cravens and Ethel Brock Cravens. She was raised by her uncle, Emmit Cravens.
She married Thedford “Bill” Hendrix on February 19, 1983. She had two step-children, Donna and Billy Ray Hendrix.
She grew up in Harrisburg, Arkansas and worked in Cravens Used Car Lot with her Uncle Emmit. She also worked at the Marshall Nursing Home.
She was saved at Dover, Arkansas on her wedding day. She attended Falling Water Church for 39 years until her health failed. She loved going to church and especially enjoyed watching the little kids at church. She was loved by her family and will be missed greatly.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Bill Hendrix of the home; step-children, Donna Hendrix and Billy Ray Hendrix of Witts Springs; cousins, Greg Cravens of Witts Springs and Sheila Easter of Harrisburg; brothers-in-law, Kenny Hendrix and wife Betty of Western Grove, Earl Wayne Hendrix and wife Glenda of Witts Springs and Harold Hendrix and wife Mary Beth of Witts Springs; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Ethel Cravens; and uncle, Emmit Cravens.
Funeral services for her was at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Jon Burdine officiating. Special music was performed by the Falling Water Church singers. Visitation was 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. preceding the service. Burial was in Witts Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenton Blair, Eric Hendrix, Ricky Hendrix, Shane Hendrix, Steve Smith and Greg Cravens. Honorary pallbearers were Anna Gorecke, Donna Yancey and Cheryll Simpson.
