Gail Anne Smith died on May 3,2022 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri. She was born on October 28, 1968 in Ramapo, New York to Louis and Alice (Sillings) Ragland. She attended her first few years of school in New York before her family moved to Marshall, Arkansas. There she grew up in the country enjoying summers farming vegetables and strawberries with her dad.

On one of those summer days when she was a teenager at Long Creek, she met Kenny and after their courtship they were married in 1985. The couple had a daughter and two grandchildren who were dearly loved.

Over the years she worked sewing collars at Flintrock and ZacBac where she made many lasting friendships. She was a kind spirit and had a beautiful smile.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Kenny Smith, daughter Erica Smith, grandchildren Lorelei Smith and Axel Bonds; siblings Trish Jackson, Kathy Jackson (James), Jackie Horton (James), Jeannie Davis (Ken), Rebecca Massey (Jamie), Sally Ragland, Susan Baker (James), Joan Rea (Todd), Joseph Ragland (Michele), Lisa Ragland, Amanda Cox, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Hudson and Sally Sillings, Edgar and Myrtle Ragland; parents Louis and Alice Ragland; and niece Allison Baker. Her family will honor her memory in a private gathering at a later date.
