Hazel Owens of Plano Texas
Hazel Owens, 89, of Plano, TX, formerly of Springfield, MO, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday,
May 19 at the Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, TX. She was born on November 28, 1932, in Marshall, AR to Frank and Cora Knowles. She married Lawrence Owens in 1953. She would always look at the brighter things in life and never said a bad word about anyone.
She remained a faithful Christian for her entire life. We know that God is pleased to have one of His kind and generous angels back in his arms, where she belongs.
She will be sorely missed by those on earth. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, witty, beautiful, encouraging, and supportive person.
We love this woman more than life itself. She made our family what it is, and we are forever grateful. We thank the Lord for her life.
Survivors include her children, Larry Owens, Michael Owens, and Gary Owens and wife Cara, all residing in the Dallas area; sister, Norma Pemberton of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Travis Owens and Jillian Owens.
She ispreceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Owens; parents Frank and Cora Knowles; brothers, Roy Knowles, and Jim Knowles; and sisters, Evelyn Thompson, Wilma Reade, and Irene Watts; and grandson Nick Owens.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days.
The Memorial Service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Parkway Hills Baptist Church, 2700 Dallas Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093.
