Christine Darnley, age 63 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at NARMC in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born in Maricopa, Arizona on December 21, 1959 to Delmar Fikes and Janet Butler Fikes Hendricks.

She began her working career as a cake decorator. She received her certificate of merit in cake decorating. She was very good at her trade and enjoyed her work. Her dedicated work ethic helped her earn her GED in 1997 and continue her education at North Arkansas College where she received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in phlebotomy. She then went to work for NARMC and Marshall Family Practice.

She enjoyed crocheting and liked to collect cook books. She was a very talented artist, specializing in painting. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and her presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Jennifer Alsobrooks (Lindy) of Marshall, Yvette “Torrie” Deavers (Chris) of Marshall and Thomas L. Darnley III, also of Marshall; grandchildren, Patience Vandergriff, Luke Vandergriff (Lia), Trinten Darnley and baby Evie Deavers, soon to make her appearance; great-granddaughter, Brooke Willow; sisters, Brenda Perkins (David)of Lancaster, CA, Judy Brady (Perry) of Texas and Karen Cervantes of Arizona; brothers, Todd Darnley (Shelley) of Marshall, Jim Geymont, Rick Geymont and David Geymont; and many extended family members and friends who will also mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Janet; husband, Thomas Larry Darnley Jr., who passed away in 2012; and brothers, Gordan Fikes and Charlie Fikes.

Graveside services for her were 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at Rambo Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Watts officiating. Friends and family served as pallbearers.
