Nola Davis of Marshall

Nola M. Davis, age 85 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Highland Court in Marshall. She was born in Zack, Arkansas on April 30, 1938 to Theodore Castleman and Fleeta Horton Castleman.
She was a born again believer in Jesus Christ. She attended several local churches, including the Calvary Apostolic First Pentecostal Church and the Pine Grove Church.
She and her husband, George always raised a large garden. She enjoyed working in the garden and canning the fruits of her labors. She was an excellent housewife and homemaker and could cook anything that her family desired. Her family was her greatest joy. Her strong work ethic and wisdom will be greatly missed by her family.
Survivors include her children, B.W. Davis (Yolanda) of Marshall, Georgia Alexander of Dennard, Willa Davis (David Ward) of Marshall and Sharon Wright (Mike) of Harrison; grandchildren, Shawndor Stapleton (Donald) of Dennard, Shanndoah Castle of Pangburn, Shannika Wilson of Dennard, Shane Davis of Texas, Michael Watson of Harrison, Matthew Watson (Christy) of Bruno, Hastin Davis of Marshall and Keely Grice (Taff) of Dongola; granddaughter-inlaw, Amber Davis of Marshall; great-grandchildren, Afton (Chelsea) Stapleton, Evan Stapleton, Dalton Wilson, Destiny Smithson, Jacob Campbell, Janessa Campbell, Ember Watson and Everly Grice; greatgreat grandchildren, Carter, Emmery, Olivia, Audry, Sophia, Killion, Braden and Braxton; siblings, Lonnie Castleman (Mary) of Marshall, Larry Castleman (Mary) of Fayetteville, Joe David Castleman (Carol) of Tulsa, OK and Nina Duncan of Clinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Fleeta Castleman; husband, George Davis who passed away in 2022; grandson, Dustin Davis; and siblings, Shanna Hinkle and Ted Castleman.
Funeral services for her were 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Sanders and Bro. Charlie Rowe officiating. Visitation was 11:00 until 12:00 p.m. preceding the service. Burial was in Marshall Memorial Gardens in Marshall, Arkansas. The pallbearers were Todd Darnley, Donald Stapleton, Matthew Watson, Michael Watson, Hastin Davis, Afton Stapleton, Evan Stapleton, Dalton Wilson, Shane Davis and Rob Myrick.
