William “Bill” Webster

William “Bill” Webster, age 89 of Leslie, Arkansas died on Monday, April 1, 2024 at St. Vincent’s in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Berrien Springs, Michigan on October 6, 1934 to Jesse Webster and Helen Staley Webster.

He served in the U.S. Army as a marksman from 1957-1959 and was stationed in Germany. He was a skilled carpenter and a man of many interests. He found joy in traveling, camping, and floating the Buffalo National River. His adventurous spirit led him and his wife, Millie on memorable motorcycle trips across the country and a trip to Alaska. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Millie Webster; children, Becky Thomas (Al), Gina Younger (Randy) and Mike Webster (Mary); seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Helen Webster; children, Marie Webster and Rick Webster; and siblings, Phyllis Goode, Jack Lytle, Byron Webster, Linda Osborne and Phillip Webster.

A ceremony to honor his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 4163 Hwy 66, Leslie, Arkansas with Reverend Andrew Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers and food, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association or a Dementia Organization of your choosing.
