Barry Lawrence Woods, age 80 of Leslie, Arkansas died on Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 7, 1944 to Howard and Emily Woods. He was married to his sweetie, Sharon Elaine Woods for 59 years.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1963 until 1967. He served as an electronics technician. After his military service he went to the University of Texas for two years.

He liked to try and do new things and he tried many things before he landed on truck driving, where he spent 10 years before his retirement. After retirement he went on many trips with his sweetie, Sharon. They bought their home in Leslie, Arkansas in 2000 after falling in love with the Buffalo River where he spent many days enjoying the sun, canoeing, catching fish and making memories with Sharon. He loved many things but above all he loved his wife.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Woods, James and Amber Wallace, Riley, Kylan and Kayle Wallace, adopted grandson, Jacob Ford, his best friends, Megan Morrison and Rick Meier and his dogs, Tigger and Hunny.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Emily Woods; brother, Stephen Woods; and brotherin-law, Don McEachern.
