Amanda Grace was lovely. Her humble, gentle spirit was as rare as her angelic singing voice which has composed over 2,500 songs Born on May 1, 1981, to Clyde B. and Shirley Ann Hatcher Sherrod, Amanda was the youngest of six children. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Sherrod and her husband, David Cowles. Survivors include her mother, Shirley Sherrod of St. Joe; her brothers and sisters, Tommy Sherrod and his wife, Ruby Sherrod, of Mulberry, Teresa Sherrod Still and her husband, Wendel Still, of Snow, Beverly Sherrod Cothran and her husband, Ronald Cothran, of Anderson Flat, Ramona Sherrod Cranford and her husband, Kevin Cranford, of Harrison, and Steven Sherrod and his wife, Theresa Sherrod, of Pyatt; other special people in her life who survived her are her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, former band members, friends, and her church family at St. Joe First Baptist Church.
