Tips to make Mother’s Day special

Mother’s Day is celebrated each May and marks a perfect opportunity to show Mom how much she’s loved and appreciated. Mother’s Day has been celebrated for more than 100 years, and in that time mothers have grown accustomed to certain staples of the holiday. A bouquet of fresh flowers, Sunday brunch at a local restaurant and some gifts from a partner and the children have become standards each Mother’s Day.

The Cozyhome Connection

Well, the Cozyhome Church parking lot has a beautiful new covering of gravel and the brush from the additional clearing has all been burned away leaving an amazing view of the hills in the distance. We had 28 in attendance Easter Sunday for church and it was such a blessing to be there! Hope all reading this were blessed as well. He lives, y’all, and He loves us every one! Two families that have had construction projects going on for the past few weeks are happy to report completion of those big jobs. Congrats on the expansions to the McGruders and the Treats (aka hubby & me!). Thanks to so many who helped with these big endeavors.

Searcy County Farm Bureau Shows Ongoing Commitment to Students Through Annual Fishing Derby Support

Searcy County Farm Bureau once again demonstrated its dedication to the local community by actively participating in and supporting recent student fishing derbies hosted for area schools. Through both hands-on involvement and generous contributions of time and resources, Farm Bureau members played a vital role in ensuring these outdoor educational events were a success for students from St. Joe Schools, Leslie Intermediate School (LIS), and Marshall Elementary School (MES).

Witts Springs to Host 2nd Annual Pony Express Poker Run in May 2025

Witts Springs Community Voices (WSCV), in collaboration with WOMPA Off Road LLC and Kelly & Nikki Small BBQ, is bringing back the much-anticipated Pony Express Poker Run for its second year. Scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, the event promises a fun-filled day of horseback riding, scenic trails, hearty food, and community spirit.
