Memories and Meals

Most of the time during cooking, you’re not thinking about the memories that you’re making. You are just thinking about food. You’re also probably not thinking about how your food is going to affect others around you. You can never tell how much something is going to affect others, especially something as simple as lunch.

Around Our Town

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the Jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. Oh my what odd weather we have had this past week from very frigid cold to 80 degrees in February. Like I have often said that here in the Ozarks, we get the weather sampler, no matter what time of year it is. So we have had cold and snow and torrential rainfall, and very high springlike temperatures now we are going back to our regularly scheduled Winter of more cold and snow. If you are not happy with the weather here in the Ozarks, you should hang around a few minutes and it will change.

St. Joe News

Patty and I went to Mountain Home just killing time. I never left so much in my life we were people watching and believe me it is entertaining. We ran into Miranda White and her friends cruising the thrift stores just like us. I have another Grinch added to my collection. If I decorate it’s the Grinch.
