Nov. 22 Hello to all of you. Hope you have had a good week. We’re good here on the creek. It is raining tonight (Sunday night). Not much rain yet, but before it is over maybe we will get a good one. Makes good for sleeping.

Grassy Gap news

Hope that everyone had a good week. We received some rain today and it turned off chilly. Tammie and I went to the mailbox to see if we received any mail. Larry cut some trees and bushes around my mom and dad house.

Chimes news

Good afternoon to all of you. I am having to write my column a little early this week because of Thanksgiving, so I don’t know many happenings.

Around our town

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. We have had such beautiful Fall weather this past week with several perfect Autumn days in a row. The rain brought in cooler temperatures and the oh so familiar gray November sky. With the cooler temperatures we have been keeping a small fire in the stove just enough to knock the chill out of the air and warm the house up. We are not the only ones who heat with wood so there is a wonderful smoky smell in the air.

Big Flat Buzz

Good morning friends and neighbors. Today is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. It will be a hectic week trying to get everything ready. We still have to process the deer meat Bill got for us. Plus I need to go to town with my folks to get groceries...I have a ton of baking to do, and it all HAS to be done BEFORE or by Wednesday.
