Around our town

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the Jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. It has been just a lovely week of Fall Weather this past week. We did get a sneak peek at what the winter has to offer the week before. That cold snap got everyone on the ball about getting ready for winter though. According to the foggy days of August and the persimmon seeds having been looked at the wooly worm report is in and it all points to a snowy winter. We shall have to wait and see if all of these signs are correct. It is expected to rain and bring some cold temperatures. In the meantime, I am experiencing Autumnal bliss.

Newbie no more

Doc 10/31/23: Searcy County lost an icon today, and I lost a friend. I don’t think being a friend of Doc Blair is all that unique of a thing. There are almost 8000 of us in this county, and I figure about every one of us would make that claim.

Snowball news
