Confront the common cold with this beloved seasonal staple

Confront the common cold with this beloved seasonal staple Everyone knows there’s no cure for the common cold. Though colds can strike at any time, cold season tends to occur when the weather cools down and people spend more time indoors. Inside viruses can circulate and spread more easily, thus leading to elevated rates of infection.

Big Flat Buzz

Hello friends and neighbors welcome to fall. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we are making plans, combing through recipes and gathering ingredients. My kids will be celebrating in Missouri with Rachael’s sister as this is their first holiday since her dad died.

Rolen Around the Bend

I don’t know about the rest of you, but my week has flown by. Some news from our area. Alaina my eldest daughter passed her permit test a couple of weeks ago. She was really excited to get behind that wheel. Until she got behind the wheel for her first driving lesson when she discovered it was a lot harder than she thought. She almost ran my car into a tree only once. I only had heart failure a couple of times myself. Then the next week while playing volleyball she injured her knee and hasn’t been able to drive since. My question is…did she do it on purpose? So, we got an MRI and they can’t figure out what’s causing the pain so we are off to see an orthopedic surgeon to have her checked out.

Welcome Home and Bear Creek news

Hi everyone. Today is Thursday and I went to visit Pat Oliver. We went shopping in town. We stopped at the Dollar Tree, Harps, and the hair salon. Pat needed a haircut. We also stopped at McDonald’s. I then took Pat to her apartment. I left and stopped to visit Charity Rolen at the Mountain Wave office. I left and stopped by the eye doctor. I visited Nancy Hensley while there. I got a new pair of eyeglasses. Afterwards I stopped to visit Colleen Bell and Casey and Landon Bell. They were doing ok. After that I came home. I went to Medic pharmacy and visited with Thereisa Jackson there.

St. Joe news

November 4, creeks are rolling. Took a trip to Yellville and there were signs that the water had covered the road in spots, and the little creeks were rolling right on. The creek at Yellville was huge, not up to the bridge but rolling right along. Drought one day and flood the next, go figure.
