Ida Carol McInturff Choate, of Harrison, Arkansas, died on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Hillcrest Home, at the age of 87.

The daughter of Ernest and Roxie (Mason) McInturff was born in Bare Horse Holler (Dongola) in Searcy County, Arkansas on November 29, 1936. She was a member of Western Grove Bible Church.

Survivors include her children, Phyllis (Darrell) Martin of Harrison, Donnie (Ann) Choate of Raymore, MO, Janice Choate of Greenwood, MO, and Jeff (Stacy) Choate of Conway, AR; brother, Keith McInturff of Harrison; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Choate, parents, three brothers, and five sisters.

Funeral service was at 11a.m., Saturday, December 9 (2023) at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Sisco officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial was in Western Grove Cemetery.
