Hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. Monday we went to Harrison to do that last minute shopping. Tammie and I made some Christmas cookies, and we have to ice them. We had our Christmas Saturday the 23rd. All of our family’s came up for Christmas.

SC Retired Teachers to Meet

Searcy County Retired Teachers will meet Friday December 8th. The meeting will be held in the fellowship hall of the Leslie United Methodist Church. Luncheon will be served by the Methodist Women's group at 11:30am. This will be our Christmas dinner, which includes homemade bread and desserts for $12. All retired Searcy County school employees are invited to attend.

December 13, 2023 Hello to each of you! Sure is a busy time of the year isn’t it?? Oh, but it’s good. I told you I had my tree up last week, and now I have some lights around the front porch, and Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus on the lower side of the driveway. We were sure tired after getting that all put up. Doesn’t seem like much, but it is for us. Then Ray said, “We’re only half through you know.” Meaning the other half is when we have to take it down! Well, it may stay until March if it doesn’t warm up some!
