Snowball news

I hope this column finds you snacking on Halloween candy you bought with zero intentions of handing out to small children, or candy you selectively removed from your children’s buckets. Either way, it’s totally cool. I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. I sent a rodeo queen and a ninja off to school and due to our rural setting, we probably won’t make a big evening out of trick or treating. I remember as a kid, my parents would take us to a few close neighbors’ houses, they would give us candy, then visit for what seemed like an eternity before we could move on to the next house. I’m sure it was very much the same and may still be the same in this part of the world.

Hello to each of you. I hope this finds you doing well. Ray and I are doing fine. We sure enjoyed the rain this weekend. Counting what we got last Monday night and this weekend, we have gotten about 3 and 1/2 inches all together. We are very thankful for the rain; it was really needed.

Zack news

Hello from Zack. Our grandson Dylan came by and visited a bit with us Tuesday before heading out to St. Louis, Missouri. That’s where he will be working the next couple months. We sure miss him when he goes.

My aunt and I are researching assisted-living facilities for her, so she can get the care she needs. I found something about arbitration in a contract from one of those facilities. Didn’t you say that arbitration is not allowed?
