My friend made me his power of attorney, so I could take care of his business if he needed me to. He got a document to do that free off the internet, straight from the Arkansas statutes. But the document you lawyers use is twice as long and costs more than zero. Why would anybody pay you when they can get a legally approved document for nothing?

Buffalo National River as I remember it about 80 years ago

Part Seven: The watermelon patch was huge and near the river. The spring was on the west side of the river, on the right side of the trail heading west going by the blowing cave. The spring came out of that mountain and would flow every day from about 1:30 pm or so until six pm or so. Then it would slow to a trickle and sometimes even stop. My dad was rushed to the emergency room with swelling in his brain. He pulled through surgery but, later, the anesthesiologist sent him a bill for $15,000. Shouldn’t insurance pay for this? The hospital was supposed to be within our network!

My father died and left money in trust for my children to attend college, but only when they turn 18. My son, smart kid, is going to start when he’s 17. The trustee won’t release the money! Is there anything we can do about this?
