Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. Boy howdy did we have the weather this week. It was in the upper 50s on Wednesday, but we all knew bad weather was coming because everyone in the county was at the store getting bread, milk and toilet paper.

Ask the Professional

My nephew the doctor disapproves of health care powers of attorney! Why might that be? The power of attorney appoints a representative – an “agent” – who will speak for a patient when the patient is not able to do so. Your nephew may have seen a power of attorney complicating matters instead of helping them.

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. My what a very cold and wet week we have just had. It was very cold this week with the temperatures in the teens and not above freezing most of the week, then a lot of rain but warmer, in the 40s if that could be called warmer. So far the winter is looking kind of rough. The rest of January is supposed to be more of the same cold, icy and snow.

South Mountain/Nubbin Hill news

Hope you are all well out there. We’re pretty good. This weather is about to get the best of me! Warm then cold then warm again and now I have a runny nose! I’ve been sneezing too. Cold right now but going to warm up again tomorrow. I like the warm better, but if it would just stay one way or another, I think I could adjust to it. Anyway, at least it hasn’t stormed too much here. Remember to pray for all the tornado stricken areas and the families there. That was a big disaster.
