It is getting very dry. We need to pray for rain. So far our yard is still green. I have been watering what garden I have, which is not much. Hope that everyone had a good week. Monday we went to Harrison to do some shopping. I picked up some paint so I could paint the front and back porch. Larry mowed the yards and worked in my garden. I did my weed eating down at Tammie’s and Larry did the mowing. I have to spray the fence down at Tammie’s. Melissa sprayed it two weeks ago but some of it did not die. I picked some okra, squash, turnips, and beans. Larry picked some cantaloupes. They were really good. We will have some watermelons soon.

They stayed quite a while, and we really enjoyed their visit. I visited by phone with some folks about Williams, Cowan and the 1909 school photo.

Everyone survived thankfully. So, I had to help flag traffic until the cops showed up. That was a hot job.
