I spent Saturday at the Diamond City Country Club helping with a golf tournament for the Valley Springs Foundation. The Valley Springs Foundation works to raise money for the school and community for special projects, thus far in the ten years we’ve been at it, we’ve raised over $100,000. Some of our projects have been expanding Wi-Fi over the entire school campus, supporting the Imagination Library, installing lights at the Valley Springs Park and given scholarships to regular college bound students and students enrolling in a trade school. The girl at the glasses place suggested a floating piece that goes around the neck and connects to the earpiece. Or just glue a bobber on them.

Sunday, May 21: Well, what a week. It has been a good week in many ways. Ray and I have managed to get by pretty good. We mostly stayed home and I was just a little lazy. Ray has worked in the gardens a little and they sure look good right now. He has them plowed and weeded and then it rained on them and they just shine. His tomatoes look really pretty and he has some of the prettiest green beans you’ve ever seen. All his garden stuff looks good.
