Sorry to not put news in last week. But, busy with company. Kim and Jackson and Khaleesi came in on their Spring break to visit with us. Most days were filled with rain, but it was nice just being together spending time. They burst the front door first thing wanting to see Buster and Trixie, the German shepherd puppies. But, they had grown quite a bit since they last saw them. But, t he puppies were just as happy to see them. Sunday was a very special treat for all of us. Kim drove several miles there and back to bring us well deserved treat. The surprise was a person new were all excited to see because it had been a while since we got to spend time with her. Tanisha, granddaughter. We had some good time checking out different entertainment sites. Slept in a little Wednesday morning before heading home and having lunch at Chick Filet, Khaleesi’s favorite eating place. Dropped off Tanisha to spend some time with her other grandmother in Harrison at the rehabilitation therapy center, Robella Phillips whom she had fallen and broken her hop. Tanisha and Kim took Jackson and Khaleesi by to see grandma Robella Saturday before going on to Fayetteville.

Around our town

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. We sure had a spate of weather this past week rain, ran and more rain, did I mention that it rained. After the really cold snap we had earlier in the week, the weather got really warm and muggy then the rain came and dumped buckets of rain onto our fair city. The Cove Creek and the Little Red River were really raging after the heavy rains. Well I can say that our gullies have been thoroughly washed officially.

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing good. Jason hasn’t been doing very well for several days, he waw much worse yesterday morning so called and got an appointment with the doctor. After getting two shots and a breathing treatment we were sent to the hospital for x-rays of his lungs. We had to go back today to see if they thought he had improved. They couldn’t tell from the x-ray if he had pneumonia of if it was fluid but treated it as if it was pneumonia. He made it pretty good today and is now sleeping. We go back to the doctor next Thursday. We both see our Cardiologist that day also.

We had 3- 7/10 inches of rain Friday and Saturday. Water was rolling everywhere. The peep frogs were sure singing a chorus Saturday night. The grass carp we put in the pond last year have done a good job. I might be able to fish in the pond this year.
