Good morning. Today is gloomy and gray I sure wish warmer, dry, and sunny days were going to start now.

Well, it is that time again so here I am. The weeks go by in a hurry. We will be back to daylight saving time by the time you read this. It always takes a little time to get adjusted, but it will be okay.
Taking Stock It’s grand to get out and walk the yard on these earlyspring fine sunny days. Driving around there are the homesteads covered with daffodils and their testimony to the good folks who planted them, still enjoyed by future generations. My yard has its daffodils, too, a gift I received from the good folks who were the first to live here, and ones I compulsively plant every fall.
Well, haven’t been able to get news in because of the weather. I’ve got to say I’ve had enough of snow, ice and cold. Sure enjoyed the 60+ degree weather this past Sunday. Anyway, during the snow and the power outage life was pretty stressful. I was pretty prepared so wasn’t bad except for no coffee which Devin brought to me. He had the generator hooked up and working good. Spent my days reading, doing crossword puzzles, and even cut out some patterns to sew up later. I do have a battery radio and batteries plenty so listened to that. The power was out about a day and a half, but other folks had it much worse waiting several days for power.
Good Monday morning. I went to the Mountain Wave office.
March 12, 2023: Well hello once again, I hope you are all doing well. Ray and I are doing fine.
Hope that everyone had a good week. We did some shopping Monday afternoon. David came up Tuesday and took care of his cows and feed them. Melissa called and asked us if we wanted to come down for supper. It was really good. We had a good visit.
Happy Daylight Savings Time! Not too sure I like this change or not, I guess this fall I’ll get that hour of sleep back! I’ve been a little under the weather this week, I feel better today. Eddie and I had a business appointment in Mountain Home on Friday.
We had 9/10 of an inch of rain one day and 8/10 the next day. Everything is pretty wet. The pond is full and running over. The grass carp have the lily pads and grass, that were getting bad in the pond, almost gone. I might be able to go fishing in it this year.
Saturday was a beautiful day. Started out a little cool and ended up warm. Never know just how to dress. I always take a jacket regardless because if I ever get my back chilled I usually get sick. I’ve taken a blood thinner for over 30 years, good reason for being cold.
