So good to see friends at Haskel’s again. Haskel said he thought I’d quit since I hadn’t been there in a couple of weeks. Told him that he was mobile no matter the weather but after retiring I don’t go if I don’t feel comfortable doing it. Better safe that sorry! Ha Rain and rain, it’s better than what we’ve had. I’ll take it over snow and ice any day.

Recovery recommendations There are a myriad of recommendations and preparations for having surgery. For my last one, Danny and I even had to go to Spine Academy to tell us what we needed to prepare (everything) and the things not to do (everything), but first and foremost, our main assignment was to go home and remove all tripping hazards, like rugs or anything on the floor.

Good morning hope this Sunday finds you well. I’m writing this article from a hospital bed in Mountain View. Came in with abdominal pain, nausea and ended up being admitted to monitor a possible pulmonary issue. I’m in the hurry and wait stage of treatment... hurry and get this test, that test, draw arterial blood, draw venous blood, get those tests done...ah well such is life.

Snowball news

Greetings from Snowball! This week looks to be full of warmer weather! I know we have been making the most of the beautiful days being outside getting things done! Snowball had some semi-rough weather pass through last week, although it appears the majority of the weather went north, with Pindall being the hardest hit area. I’ve heard of a few homes and barns that were completely demolished.

The weather this week has had quite a variety of changes. This afternoon I had a red bird eating off the suit block. I have seen a tufted titmouse at the feeder, there has been a couple others but I did not get a good enough look to make out what they were. Tuesday afternoon there were about 20 robins in the back yard and pasture. Spring will get here. I am hoping to have better luck with my gardening this year.

Welcome Home and Bear Creek news

Hi everyone. I am happy that Kansas City chiefs won the Super Bowl game last night. That was a good game. Today is Monday. I visited Leisa Younger at the Mountain Wave office. I stopped by to visit with Mary at Harps. I went to the toe doctor in Harrison. I stopped by to visit Craig Kite; he is okay. We ate at Western Sizzling. They have good food. Then I went home. Kathy is in Tennessee.

Good afternoon to you all. This is a beautiful day so Jason and I took advantage of it and went for a ride in the s ide by side this afternoon. It is kind of hard getting in and out of any kind of vehicle, but we manage. We get so tired being inside so much. We enjoy riding through the cattle and we usually end up going by the cemetery. It just feels good getting out in the sunshine. Nancy was here a few days last week so we all went to Ronnie and Thereisa’s to see the new baby girl. Of course, she is cute and so sweet. We had five generation pictures made on both the Housley and Mathis side. We saw all of Ronnie and Thereisa’s family except Brandon and Brandi and enjoyed our visit with them.
