Snowball news
Wow! Two snows in November already! Snows are always fun for a little while, but they do disrupt normal life. Snow always looks pretty until it gets tracked up and slightly muddy, then I’d like for it to melt away.

Chimes news
Hello everyone. My goodness, we have had all kinds of weather in the past week. We’ve had rain, sleet and snow, cold temperature and of course, lots of wind. The sleet and snow didn’t stay very long and that is exactly like I like it. Here one minute and gone the next. It is pretty and I know it is good for the soil, so it’s okay.

It has definitely been cold this week. We had a little snow Thursday night, into Friday morning. I went to Springfield for a doctor appointment. When I got north of Harrison there was no snow, and the roads were dry. My older brother lives west of Republic, MO and he said they did not get anything either. Since we have had some rain the last few weeks, my rose of Sharon bushes has bloomed out. There are still several hummingbirds here. I am putting out about 62 ounces of food for them about once a day. Sometimes every other day. There was a little wren out by the car port a couple days ago. It was just singing away.

Hi folks! Let’s see if I can get a few lines of news down. Not a lot of activity this week, but let’s see. Eddie and I had lunch today with our girls and some of their family members. Some were working and were not able to make it, we sure missed them. While at the restaurant I got to visit with Yvonne Kimbrell and daughter Debbie, had not seen them in some time. Also visited with some of the former 4-H members that were active when I worked in the County 4-H program, Benjamin Fruehauf and his sister Carolyn. Was good to see them and meet Carolyn’s baby girl.
