Chimes news
Well, here I am again, and like everyone else, still wishing for a good soaking rain and maybe we will get it these next few days. Anyway, the weather reports sound more favorable.

News time again! Hope everyone had a beautiful weekend. The rain we received was sure welcome.
Many thanks to Morrigan Reed for helping with the kids. They all had a great time.
Well, the Good Lord blessed us with a good rain last week. We sure needed it.
Hi everyone. Last night I called and talked to Sheila Harris. They were okay. Our water was low on pressure. I called and reported it to the city hall. Right now, we have good pressure. I am glad about that. God answers prayer. God is good all the time.
You are stuck with me this week writing the goings on from Snowball. Rachel is enjoying a vacation with her family. I got lucky, in a way, because the much prayed-for rain came on my watch. How welcome it was when it finally came. Rain fell on the entire County but I like to imagine that it blessed Snowball especially. Everyone’s lawns and gravel roads had dried up but along with that, our stretch of the river had also gone underground and then evaporated and heated up so that even our swimming holes were not refreshing anymore.
Its news time again, seems like it comes around pretty fast! We did get some rain, so thankful for that. We got 4 to 5 inches, and some cooler temperatures. Having a break in the hot/dry weather sure is nice!
Praise the Lord for the rain. From Thursday through Sunday, we had 4.2 inches. Everything is greening up some. My flowers that were parched and wilted to the ground had raised up. The Rose of Sharon bushes blooms are opening. There were to many shrubs and flowers to give everything enough water to really do any good.
Hope that everyone had a good week. We had some new power poles put in this week.
