Hello again. It is still hot weather and no rain. Everything is just drying up and the garden looks pitiful in the heat of the day. We are thankful for the vegetables we have had to enjoy. We keep hoping for cooler weather and praying for rain.

Well, hello once again. I hope this finds you doing well. It has been a rough long week here, well, at least part of the week has been. I guess I should back up and say that Monday, July 4th was a good day here and Tuesday and Wednesday went by okay, but the later part of the week was rough. But there is always something to be thankful for if we look for it. God is good.

Witts Springs news

We really need some rain. I dreamed that it rained, but so far it has hot happened. I have been watering a few things. Since it is so dry, I am sort of glad I did not get much planted in the garden. I have had more hummingbirds the last week. Probably because the flowers are all drying up. I have been filling the two feeders have hung twice a day.

Welcome Home and Bear Creek news

Hey, it is 4 of July and Monday. I went to the Mountain Wave office. I visited with Leisa Younger there. I left and stopped by Harps. I visited with Mary there. She is okay. Then I went home. It rained at my house some. Kathy and her family went to Witts Springs to see fireworks.

Snowball news

I think we may have officially entered a drought. It’s hot, and I’ve not had to mow my yard in at least a month. I do think a portion of Searcy County may have received some rain, but we can’t get any at our house.

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. Oh, my it has been hot this week it got to 102 on my front porch. We did get a spot of rain but once again not even enough to cut the grit in the air. We might get some rain this coming week but that remains to be seen.
