We are getting ready for the Ancestor Fair, we had several visitors this week. Some folks were looking for newspaper information from the old papers and some were researching their family history. We were glad they stopped in to visit. Some were looking for ways to get their family history organized together

Hope that everyone had a good week. We went down to David and Melissa Smith home for a meal and cake and ice cream.
Hello out there! Hope this finds you all doing well. We are doing fine here on the creek.
All kinds of people on the road this weekend. Going somewhere, gas isn’t slowing us down. Car almost bumper to bumper. School is officially out. Jackson promoted to sixth grade. I can remember being in the sixth grade. School for the summer was short for us. Three months was like two weeks. Out and over time to start again. Almost makes you think of life now, how fast it is going.
The nuthatches have three cute little babies in the bluebird house by the garden. The Bluebirds have four eggs in the house one the north fence by the shop. The two pair of Purple Martins are nesting in their house. The hummingbirds have been a bit scarce lately. The Orioles are coming at interval, but not as much as there were. They are very skittish birds.
Hello again this windy Wednesday afternoon. We were blessed with a good rain and had some cool mornings.
We have had a lot of rain recently and the temperatures seem a bit cool for this time of year. The Henley reunion was well attended as was the 50th Anniversary party at Donnie Chisum’s Church.
