St. Joe news
Hauled off rocks and with the wind blowing and dust flying in my face no matter where I was standing at the time, could plant a garden in my nose. Lots of sneezing going on after all that.

Hello once again. I hope you are all doing well. Ray and I are fine. We’re just waiting on the rain! I am excited to rain! I may even raise my window and listen to it rain.
Hi everyone. Today is Thursday and it is sunshining and warm. I have a new shower for my house. The boys put that in last week. The other shower had a crack.
This week’s Cozyhome ‘Old-Timer’ is a jewel that we are proud to introduce! Sherrill Jackson Watts, well known to most everyone in Marshall after her years of work until retirement at Harps, and a girlfriend and former classmate of mine, introduced me to her late mother and shared some of her many memories that were journaled and left for her daughters. Linnie (Laffoon) Jackson was born to George and Carrie Lack Laffoon in 1931 and moved to Cozyhome in 1947.
Went to Humane Shelter thrift store at Mountain Home and bought a metal lampshade, orange and of course with intentions of making a windchime for the porch of my shop. Got a phone call that one of the workers had dibs on it and they wanted it back.
Happy Halloween! I’m not sure who’s been doing the rain dance in their yard, but IT WORKED!! We are personally really excited to have some rain. We’re probably past the point of getting any new growth with our grass, but thankful for the rain to at least settle the dust.
Nancy Reed came over Sunday to visit and get eggs. We watched a Hallie Berry movie “Kidnap.” If you’ve not seen it then you must. A good one.
October 23rd Hello to each one of you! I hope you are doing well today. It is a beautiful day outside! Actually, kind of extra warm! I turned the air back on, did have the heat on.
We’re still looking for rain in our neck of the woods. It’s so dry I can insert several bad dry jokes…It’s so dry the trees are whistlin’ for dogs and it’s so dry the river only runs twice a week.
