SEARCY COUNTY 4H FISHING DERBY May 19, 2023, 3:30 PM – 6 PM Racoon Springs Park, Marshall, AR Please bring your own fishing tackle; a limited number of poles available for those who don’t have one.

Searcy County Retired Teachers will meet this Friday, May 12. Meeting will be held in the Leslie United Methodist Church fellowship hall. We will have state representative Steven Walker as our speaker. The topic will be 'Learns Act', he will answer questions and provide information concerning this legislation. Lunch will be provided by the women's group of the Leslie United Methodist Church. $12.00 for the meal, free fellowship, information and excellent service. Every retired employee of Searcy County School is invited to attend.

The South Central Walk Worthy Women’s Conference, an inter-denominational event, will be held April 28-29, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Mountain View, Missouri. The conference times are 6:30-9:30 Friday evening and 9:00 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. The conference host will be Teresa Arthur and we are honored to welcome keynote speakers: Mo Isom Aiken, Bible teacher; Whitney Capps, Bible Teacher; and Sara Forhetz, speaker. Praise and Worship will be lead by weRcalled. Cost for this event is $40 (breakfast and lunch included on Saturday).
