Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. We had some of the most glorious days this past week. Although some days were rather chilly, we did have a couple of really nice days where it got up to 60 degrees on my porch. It is interesting to see where there is still ice and snow on the ground in the places that never see sunlight, even the places that always seem to be in shadow seemed to be in the light on the sunny days. You can really tell that the light is beginning to shift from winter to spring. The days are getting noticeably longer the sun does not seem to set at 4 in the afternoon. So it just seems like we are coming out of winter. We still have the rest of February and half of March to get through. I will bet we have a few more really cold days ahead.
