The Programs’ goal is to assist low-income households cope with the high costs of fuel for heating their homes in the winter months. Apple Butter Snickerdoodles

Ingredients 2 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon cream of tarter ½ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon of salt ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg 1 ¾ cups of sugar, divided ½ cup of unsalted butter, softened 1 large egg, room temperature ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ¾ cup apple butter 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon Instructions Whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium sized bowl until combined. Combine butter and 1 ½ cups sugar in a large bowl.
