Youth Livestock Showmanship Clinics Coming to Searcy County Fairgrounds

Young agricultural enthusiasts will have an exciting opportunity to sharpen their skills this summer at the Livestock, Poultry, and Rabbit Showmanship Clinics, hosted by the Searcy County Fair and Searcy County Extension. The clinics are set for Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Searcy County Fairgrounds, and all youth are invited to attend.

St. Joe News

My luck sucks. The battery in the truck isn’t doing as it should. Joe came over, we hooked the battery charger to it and the plan was to let it charge all night. Then the rain started. Now bear in mind that it’s been cloudy and rainy-looking all weekend but no rain. But, as soon as I hooked up the charger, the rain started. I closed the hood to keep rain out, and put the plug under the hood also. But decided to pull the plug until morning to make sure. So now I will have to wait tomorrow until it charges and see if it holds the charge. Just my luck. Well, the battery charged. I will drive the truck around for a week or so to see if the battery stays charged. One thing or another around here.
