The Cherokee of Arkansas and Missouri Tribe (CAMT), Ozark Branch, next scheduled meeting will be on June 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be at the Arise Church, 1601 E. Main St., Mountain View, AR 72650. Please have your membership card on hand. If you have any questions or inquiries concerning this meeting, please contact your Councilman. There will be press releases of any tribal activities and other news as come available.

Around Our Town

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave Readers and greetings from the Jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. We have had such turbulent weather this Spring, and a lot of rain. The temperatures are still very cool in the mornings and warmer into the 80s in the afternoons. Very pleasant for the most part. The creeks and rivers are way up right now. It will be interesting this Summer, when the creek dries up just a little bit, to see what has washed up on the banks of the waterways.

The Cozyhome Connection

I found my first yellow squash bloom this morning, but the nights have been so cool, very little of the rest of my muddy garden is making progress. These on-again, off-again rainy days are certainly growing the grass though! Seems every time the sun does come out, it’s time to mow again. Cozyhome Church has stayed consistent with attendance in the mid to high 20’s - never the same group attending, but God is always there! If you need a church home, check us out. Our ‘rocking chair church’ is worth the drive!
