Searcy County Farm Bureau Shows Ongoing Commitment to Students Through Annual Fishing Derby Support

Searcy County Farm Bureau once again demonstrated its dedication to the local community by actively participating in and supporting recent student fishing derbies hosted for area schools. Through both hands-on involvement and generous contributions of time and resources, Farm Bureau members played a vital role in ensuring these outdoor educational events were a success for students from St. Joe Schools, Leslie Intermediate School (LIS), and Marshall Elementary School (MES).

County Orama

The Searcy County Extension Office will be holding a County Orama on May 12th at the Extension Office from 4:30-6:30. The contests 4-Hrs can participate in are Baitcasting, Animal Science, Crop and Weed ID, Horticulture, Food Fair, Livestock ID, Poultry Skill-a-Thon, Vet Science and Wildlife. This is a great opportunity for 4-Hrs to get practice in for the District Orama in June and for younger 4-Hrs to see what interests them. To register please go to Zsuite to register for County Orama.
