Inmate damages jail property

Deputies, who were working as the jail as inmates, heard a loud bang and when they went to investigate, they found the broken window and Martin sitting with his fist clenched. Deputies restrained and cuffed Martin, who admitted he hit the window and shattered it out of anger. Martin was escorted to a holding cell and held for disciplinary lockdown. Martin is currently being held in the Searcy County Detention Center charged with second degree assault/reckless conduct creating risk of physical injury. Photo courtesy of the SCSO
