This is something I didn’t think I would ever be able to say: my goats have become contributing members of society. Finally, at last, all their natural born tendencies to destroy stuff are being used for good. Behind our house is a rocky bank that was built up to make a level place for the driveway and yard and it has been somewhat impossible to maintain.
It’s a truly beautiful day. The sun is shining brightly. There are signs of the trees leafing out already and the spring peepers have been doing nightly serenades. Seems strange because they are calling for winter weather later on this week.
Hi everyone. It is Valentine’s Day. Happy Valentine’s everyone. I went to the Mountain Wave office. I visited with one girl and Leisa Younger there. I went to Baker drug store. I visited with Angela Tapley there. She was okay. I went to the Senior Center. I visited with Pam Cannada there. Then I went home. I called and talked to Fanny Smith; she was okay. Kathy came to my house. We visited; she is okay.
It looks like our nice weather streak maybe coming to short halt before spring actually arrives. By the time you’re reading this, it maybe by candlelight huddled around the wood stove because that’s your only light and heat source.
Good Sunday evening, sorry about no news last week. Eddie and I were hosting the Super Bowl party at our house with twenty or more here so time just slipped away. I’m not much for football but the food always prepared for the super bowl is amazing. The girls all bring a dish and we have plenty to eat. I was disappointed in the commercials this year, they were not as catchy as in the past.
Hope that everyone had a good week. I have been working on one of the chicken houses trying to keep them warm.

Hello to everyone. After all the terribly cold days and nights along with the ice, sleet and snow we are having some nice days and the stuff is melting, so we may be getting close to normal again. Of course, it may not be long until we get another round. Ha. After all it is wintertime.
Still have some snow if you are interested in any. It’s not a pretty white but it’s snow. We were eating late at Loco Amigos, Wednesday night, someone announced report someone knocked over a snowman and just left him lying there. Ha! Funny!
