It’s Sunday and it looks like it’s going to be a nice day outside. But heard talk of snow this week. By the time you get the news we will be able to tell snow or not. Hopefully not, when we all worked at Flintrock Shirt Factory we wanted a snow day. But those days are long gone. Kids are grown and moved on. Only Kim got a chance to experience the work of the factory. Just to let you know how small the world really is. Guess it is a small world after all.

In our defense, it was the best sledding snow of our life and we hadn’t gotten to play like kids in it due to one thing and another related to adult responsibility. But when that gorgeous full moon came out and “gave the luster of mid-day to objects below” it swept us right off our feet.

Snowball news

Just when we were starting to enjoy warmer winter weather, we’ve got the worst case scenario heading right at us. ICE! I remember way back when in 2009 when we had the last ice storm, I’m sure y’all remember it too. I hope you’ve gathered up all your cold weather supplies; water, alternative heat source, groceries, candles, a good book and a board game. While you might possibly be hanging out part of this week watching ice freeze, dig out your favorite cookbooks and your old photo albums and send Amy some content for the Snowball Civic Club book!
