The Forest Newby Memorial Space Camp Scholarship is now open for enrollment. This annual contest will send one child from Searcy County, grades 7 through 11, to NASA Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama during the summer of 2022. This prize package, valued at $1750, includes a week-long stay at Space Camp, a $500 travel stipend, and more! Applying is free and easier than ever before. Just go to www. On Wednesday, December 15 the Work of hART art studio held their grand opening and Craft camp located on the square in Marshall. The camp ran through December 17. Children were able to enjoy hot cocoa, sugar cookie decorating, and Christmas crafts. They will be holding a parents night on December 31 from 5-9 p.m. and they will be doing crafts, games, slime projects, and much more. The children will even enjoy a pizza dinner.
