Search Warrant arrest in SC

On November 9, Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell (right) oversees the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Main Street in Leslie. Search warrants lead to arrest of two Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell reported during the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 9, members of the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office, 20th Judicial Drug Task Force, 20th Judicial Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Marshall Police Department and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Enforcement Division simultaneously executed two search warrants in Searcy County.

Quilts of Valor in Searcy County

One of the most heartwarming events every year is the Quilts of Valor presentation by the Searcy County Quilt Guild that was held Saturday in Marshall. Seven local veterans received a quilt made by the local quilt guild! Big thanks are extended to the veterans and to the Searcy County Quilt Guild who sewed love into these special quilts! Trunk or Treat a success

On Saturday, October 30, the members of the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) held a Trunk or Treat event for children and their families in Searcy County to celebrate Halloween. A number of ghouls and goblins showed up to enjoy all of the goodies the sheriff’s office had to offer.

Casto receives scholarship

Each year deserving sons and daughters of Master Masons are selected by the Grand Lodge of Arkansas to receive a scholarship. This year Tom Casto received 1000 dollars from the Youth and Scholarship Board presented to him by his dad, DDGM Shawn Casto.
