Master Naturalists Honor Marshall Resident
North Central Arkansas Master Naturalists (NCAMN) honored Paula Caprio of Marshall (third on right) with a âBravo Awardâ during a recent holiday celebration. Paula was chapter president for two years and has led NCAMNâs Gaston Wildflower Team since 2016. She also works with the Buffalo National River Volunteers and other chapter teams. Good morning to you! I usually write of the night, but I forgot to write last night so Iâm up this morning and thought I would try to write a little bit. Hope all of you are doing well and had a good Christmas with your family. We had a wonderful time with ours. We had ours a little early, on the 21st so most could be here. We missed Jimmy and Aneilya, and Aaronâs girlfriend Avery, but we got everyone else worked in. Aaron had to leave on Sunday the 23rd to get on his way to the Liberty Bowl at Memphis. He is there having a big time! He has a practice every day, an outing with the team, and then some free time. They are staying in the Peabody and having the time of their lives, Iâm sure! I am anxious to see the game on Friday!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and is gearing up for a great start to a new year! We had very laid-back Christmas festivities, with a trip over the hill to Mimiâs on Christmas Eve and a quick drive down to my parentâs on Christmas Day. My mom insisted on everyone just showing up for finger foods and presents whenever they felt like it and I think it worked out great! Will was able to get all his feeding done without being rushed and the kids were able to enjoy a few of their gifts. If youâre considering a karaoke machine for a ten-yearold, you should think twice about that and then say noâ¦weâve had one for less than 24 hours and Iâm ready to throw it out, it was a Mimi gift.
