South Mountain/Nubbin Hill news

Hello October! It’s amazing how time flies and where does it go? Before you can turn around three times it will be Christmas! I mean that! Hope you are all doing well and loving this beautiful weather. Ray and I are just fine and this is Ray’s favorite time of the year. I like it too; spring would be my favorite. Anyway, we were out the other day in the side by side and passed where persimmons were in the road and we stopped and Ray got a couple to see what was inside the seeds and sure enough, spoons. The Cozyhome Connection

Fall has begun and the temps have started to cool. Grass continues to grow, and the days are gradually getting shorter. We Arkansans, however, are used to summer leaving, returning, leaving, and sometimes returning again. Remember Genesis 8:22 (as long as the earth endures, summer and winter will never cease) and just enjoy the days as they come (Psalm 118:24!). As one neighbor stated, “Nothing we can do about the weather but gripe and griping doesn’t help anyway.”
