Arrest Made for Theft of Ryan’s Mainstreet Grill

In February 2024 Sheriff Kenny Cassell was contacted by Mr. Ryan Lewis of Ryan’s Mainstreet Grill in Leslie, of a possible theft from his business. An active investigation took place into this case. The allegations were that thousands of dollars had been stolen from the business and that it was taking place during the normal business hours of operation. To make sure there were no possible jurisdiction conflicts, Cassell contacted the Arkansas State Police.

August 28th Hello to each of you. I hope you are doing well. Ray and I are doing fine. We are looking forward to the cooler temperatures and maybe some rain in the next few days. We still have some okra and tomatoes growing, and some late squash and late cucumbers if they make. We sure have enjoyed our garden this year. I am almost tired of it, but then a good mess of fried squash might still be good.

Hummingbird migration You kind of have to love hummingbirds. They are bright jewels of birds, quick as a flash, maneuvering like they can suspend gravity. You don’t have to love their personality, though. It’s a, “Me first” attitude that even makes the goats’ pushing and shoving look good. One male will guard all three of my feeders when he gets full and will run off all the hardworking little females and youngsters that might be hungry. It’s sad except that my yard is full of blooms that should feed a horde, so nobody should actually do without a meal. They just might have to work a little harder for it than sipping the nectar at my feeder. I figure I peaked this summer around twenty.

Good morning to you and here we are in the month of September , let’s hope the weather starts cooling down. Tammy Loggins and Mandy Nipp had a girl’s trip in Branson. They spent 3 days and 2 nights, lots of shopping and laughs. Glad they had a good time.
