This is my first-ever submission so I will start by letting you know who I am. My maiden name was Arrowood, and I graduated from Marshall High School in 1972. I married my sweetheart, Ben Treat, from the class of ’71.

Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. Oh, my goodness it has been very hot this past week with no rain to speak of and very hot the next week as well. We are entering the thick of summer when It is just too hot to do much of anything really. So most folks are staying inside with the air conditioning, I know I am. Most home air conditioners can only cool 20 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature, so the coming week is going to be a little brutal.
Help for Veterans of SC
Every Monday, From 9-? A service Officer from the VFW, American Legion, and Disabled Veteran will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall to help veterans with situations they need help with. .

Hello from Zack, here we are into the month of July. Summer is definitely here. Tanya and Mark took little Miss Marley back home Saturday morning. We sure hate to see her go. I know Ryan and Kristin were happy to see her. Hopefully she can come back for a visit soon.
