Toll Road Robotext Scam

Attorney General Tim Griffin issued the following statement alerting consumers to a scam that has recently made its way to Arkansas: “A new texting scam has reached Arkansas. Under this ‘smishing’ scam—a combination of ‘SMS’ (texts) and ‘phishing’— scammers attempt to steal consumers’ personal information and trick consumers into handing over funds by impersonating a state toll service.

MHS Seniors Receive Scholarships

On Monday, May 27 the Searcy County Veterans Memorial Association presented scholarships to three Marshall High School Seniors. Each winner had to do the research on a Searcy County Veteran of their choice who was killed in action and their scholarship was named after that veteran. The Estelle Bailey Scholarship was awarded to Hadley Horton; The Gerald Albert Henry Scholarship was awarded to Mikaela Blair; The Dale L. Kyle Scholarship was awarded to Jesse Ragland. CAM to Meet

The Cherokee of Arkansas and Missouri Tribe (CAMT), Ozark Branch, next scheduled meeting will be on June 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be at the Arise Church, 1601 E. Main St., Mountain View, AR 72650. Please have your membership card on hand. If you have any questions or inquiries concerning this meeting, please contact your Councilman. Hi everyone. Today is Thursday. It is sunshine and 69°. I went to the Mountain Wave office. I visited with Charity Rolen there. I came home after that. Bonnie Marker came to visit me. Thereisa Housley called me. She is ok. I worked in the yard. I picked up limbs and pinecones and rock. I got that job done.
